KEVI HGS SEND Vision
I am Mr. Skibinski, the SENCo at King Edward VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys, with six years of experience within the King Edward Trust Schools. My role is to ensure that every student with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) receives the support they need to succeed.
Our vision for students with SEND at HGS:
- They thrive and reach their full potential.
- They feel supported through tailored adjustments.
- They leave HGS happy, with excellent outcomes, ready to contribute to the community.
HGS is committed to inclusivity, following the SEND Code of Practice (2014), and creating an environment where all students are valued.
We review our SEND provision every term, working with students, parents, and carers to stay effective.
